I have had the pleasure of meeting the author and only a heart felt story could come from someone as beautiful as she is inside and out.

This story pulls you in, touches your heart and makes you grateful for the wind on your teeth.

I think implementing this into a school cirriculum would be so beneficial. For kids to learn what you can experience from life by removing judgement from someone or something. The main characters prove that perfectly.

I'd recommend this book to people from all walks of life.

This book has so many fantastic things going on I'm having a hard time with where to start. The author uses the english language to speak to the soul of the reader. She shows us how small this world really is. How by taking time to smell the flowers, or feel the wind on our face, or just look up, whatever we feel overwhelmed with at the moment can and does change. Life is always changing, and evolving, and we are all connected in some shape or form. Both characters show the reader that forgiveness is the pathway to freedom. Freedom of the chains of pain and sadness. This story shows us how sometimes things happen to shape us into the people we are meant to become. At times the situation we are born into isn't the picture we dreamt of, but in the end we are given exactly what we need.

I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone! It is such a well written, easy to follow, inspiring novel. Be ready to laugh and cry, to feel sadness and joy. It is an easy read that you won't want to end. I'm in love with Thank You!!
I fell in love with this book. I finished it several days ago and I have been meaning to write this review since.... I loved the poetic way this story was told... I loved the character development and the twists and turns... I didn't want this story to end and found it has kept me up long after I have been done reading it.... Now it keeps me up because I dread going to bed without this story to read.... I highly recommend this story and I will be looking for more from this author....

My Name is Thank-You is a lovely, soul-touching story. There is writing in this novella that is as beautiful as almost anything I've read before. Ms. Love certainly has a gift of putting words together in just the right way. I found numerous highlight-worthy passages in this book. So many, I feel like I should have just as well lit up the entire thing! I don't like writing 'too-wordy', but this is perfect - everything described so flawlessly I could see it and feel it for myself. From eating food to grass on the ground to hearing a baby's first cries, Ms Love nails it all.

Thank-You is an inspiration and though there are parts of the book that will make you sad, in the end you feel higher than the sky. I don't want to say much about the story itself because I think the best way to read this is by going into it with nothing - allowing it to unfold in your mind with no prior expectations.

I have to give this a full 5 shining stars! I would proudly recommend this book to everyone...knowing I'm sharing something that will uplift and make the day better for whomever touches it. I hope Ms Kaizen Love has more stories to tell as I certainly look forward to reading more of her writing.
I teach middle school kids and have read my share of excellent young adult literature, but this is by far one of the best books I have ever read in my life. It is the kind of book that stays in your mind, touches your heart, and becomes a part of you. I truly believe that you will be a better person for having read it. A book with this power is a rare treasure. It starts off as a beautifully juxtaposed dual character sketch. This author is truly gifted at fleshing out two compelling protagonists that you fall in love with in the very first sentences of their stories. But her genius is not truly revealed until the end when the twist of plot and intertwining of circumstance will leave you breathless. This is book is a masterpiece that truly stands out from any other young adult or inspirational novel that I have ever encountered.
This was a beautiful & moving story told in a lyrical way. Two 13-year-old girls take turns telling us about their life, one a child in foster care with a new foster mother and one a neglected little rich girl resented by her parents for not being a boy. Both children tell us about their life and about the unique ways in which they experience the world. Thank-You and Josephine are both children living without the love of a family (though at least Thank-You has her 'social-worker mama'), and their loneliness and 'otherness' make them sharp observers of everything that goes on around them.

I don't want to give too much of the plot away, but it is mostly both fun and relaxing to read. I say 'mostly' because there is a short description of a very violent act that is disturbing to read, as well as the neglect & emotional abuse that Josephine suffers. Still, I ended the book very glad I read it. It is an uplifting story of hope and love.

Favorite quote "There is nothing better than being able to swim in a pool of knowledge so deep it forces ignorance to be uncomfortable in its own skin, to where it no longer holds a sense of being, a sense of purpose. That's what books do."
