I enjoy that it's a Christian based love story and each story leaves you with a lesson from the bible.
I would recommend it to anyone that likes reading love stories.

I really did not care for this book at all. It was just too fanciful and unrealistic. Everything happened very fast and wasn't convincing enough for me.
I love this book!! It is so sweet. If you've read all the other books by this author and loved them as much as I have, you will love this one, too! I highly recommend getting this book and the others if you haven't already.
An inspiring story of a motley group of lost and lonely souls, thrown together by a series of misunderstandings, who try to make Christmas special for each other. As the magic of Christmas unexpectedly warms their own hardened hearts, they are drawn into a spiritual journay that leads them back to church and to God. Although this romance is a Christian novel, it isn't overbearing or intrusive in delivering it's message. The presentation is delightfully comical at times, and very endearing.
This was probably the dumbest Love Inspired book I've ever read.

I want to say that all the other Dry Creek books have been excellent. I've rated all but one of them five stars. The author's writing style makes the books and characters seem sort of silly, but they are so entertaining that I don't mind.

But this book...I quit before I even finished it. The whole idea of this happening is just so unrealistic. The woman seemed to be so stupid and have no brains. After reading about Brad in the last book, I didn't really care for him too much either. The idea of someone saving all this money and making stockings for people she doesn't know and...well, the whole thing just struck me as insane...

Another big issue with this book was a pretty, single girl being put up in a bunk house with a lot of rough cowboys? Then these cowboys start making angels and all this stuff? I'm sorry but it was all too much! There is NO WAY a decent sheriff (or whatever he was) would allow such a thing to happen! A decent man or woman wouldn't want this to happen, and decent, old, retired Sunday School teacher wouldn't let this happen...

Don't waste your time on this book, folks.

Another great book by Janet Tronstad! I loved the character Millie Corwin. She had no idea why Forrest, the hit man from An Angel for Dry Creek, would pick her to convince the town of Dry Creek to trust in strangers again. How could she prove to them that Forrest was sorry for what he took from them--their trust--and how could she restore it to them?
Brad Parker catches Millie sneaking into the café where she is going to leave Christmas stockings for everyone with one hundred dollars in each one. She figures that will prove to everyone once and for all that Forrest was sorry and they should trust strangers again. The one thing she doesn't reckon on is Brad feeling lonely around Christmas time and catching her doing it. Can these two get a miracle from God and fall in love? How will Millie prove she isn't trying to steal money, but giving it away?
This book brings back all the characters from the previous Dry Creek books. Brad tries his best to put the town's best foot forward so Millie will decide to stay. But it's the church that tugs on her heartstrings. Church isn't what she grew up thinking it was. I enjoyed this part of the story. Millie thought God didn't care about her or the things that worried her. But she is beginning to see that He does care.
No matter what you are going through, God is there. He is in control. We just need to trust Him. And like Millie, He can use ordinary people to do extraordinary things. All it takes is a willing heart. Brad and Millie will draw you in from the time they meet until the end with their insecurities and questions. You won't want to put this book down!
